If you hold a an existing senior- or advanced-level HR certification (SPHR), you will be eligible for the more senior of the new SHRM Certification, the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP):
If you hold an existing generalist- or professional-level HR certification (PHR), you will be eligible for the correlating new SHRM Certification, the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
HR professionals with existing PHR/SPHR certifications in good standing will be eligible for the new SHRM Certification on January 1, 2015 by taking an online tutorial. If you are already certified, you will not lose or have to give up any of your current credentials in order to obtain the new SHRM Certification. Each HR professional has the prerogative to decide whether to obtain the new SHRM Certification, keep or drop any other existing certification.
All HR professionals seeking certification for the first time (that is, who do not currently hold a PHR/SPHR certification in good standing) can apply for the exam beginning January 5, 2015. The first exam window of the new SHRM Certification is tentatively scheduled for May 2015.
SHRM will begin to offer the 2015 SHRM Learning System for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP mid-December 2014.
TARGET- Tutoring And Removing Gaps in Education for Tomorrow
Did you know that over 1,000 children in Lee County are homeless? These are children with no permanent place to lay their head each night. Despite being homeless, these children have the ability, with a little help, of achieving a high school diploma. With stimulus money falling short and no money to pay for FCAT tutoring for these kids, their chances of a diploma dwindle.
