Academic and Professional Scholarships are awarded twice per year.
May 31st and September 30th – are the last days to submit complete applications.
Professional Scholarships will be awarded at the July and December meetings. Academic Scholarships will be awarded at the December meeting.

Online Master in Human Resource Management Program

Eligibility
- Fully admitted into the FIU Master’s in Human Resource Online Program
- Current membership in SWFLSHRM
- Scholarship Application must be received by June 30th, 2013.
Description
HRMA of Southwest Florida scholarship - Master of Human Resource Management Online Program
FIU Online will award one $2,000 scholarship (distributed over 2 academic terms $1,000/$1,000) to a student in the Masters of Human Resource Management Online program who is a current HRMA of Southwest Florida member for the Fall 2013 start term. Applicants for this scholarship must be admitted into the MSHRM Online program and be a current HRMA of Southwest Florida member. Meeting the above criteria does not guarantee receipt of a scholarship. Scholarship is available on a first come/first serve basis. Scholarship funds are distributed over the fall and spring semesters. Priority will be given to those applicants who submit their application to the program prior to June 30, 2013.
About the Program
Florida International University’s Online Masters in Human Resource Management is a 12 month program that combines the flexibility of fully online classes with the quality of FIU’s nationally recognized faculty. This specialized online program focuses on the essential knowledge, skills, and management techniques essential to making its graduates the strategic link between their organization’s workforce and its future successes.
